SIOUX FALLS – Flandreau golfer Madison Bushkofsky finished in ninth place as the SDHSAA Class A State Girls Golf Tournament concluded at Bakker’s Crossing Golf Course after two days of play, June 3-4.
Bushkofsky, a Flier sophomore golfer, followed up her first-round score of 80 by shooting an 82. Her two day score of 162 tied with Chloe Attema of Sioux Falls Christian.
Sioux Falls Christian won the state team title finishing the tournament with a score of 634. Vermillion finished in second place with a score of 668, West Central finished third with a score of 696, Madison finished fourth with a score of 698 and St. Thomas More finished fifth with a score of 731.
Kaitlin Strain of St. Thomas more won the individual state championship, shooting a 77 on Monday and a 75 on Tuesday for a total score of 152.
