FLANDREAU – The Flandreau Blue Teal lost a cross county match-up to the Colman A’s 6-3 on Tuesday, July 16.
The Flandreau Athletic Department will be sponsoring a Fall Sports information meeting for all interested participants in grades 7-12 and their parents/guardians in the High School Gym at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 5th.
The Gary Hemmer Scholarship Classic will be held Saturday, August 24 at Sunrise Ridge in Colman.
FLANDREAU – The Flandreau Cardinals and Flandreau Blue Teal wrapped up a busy week as the Cardinals defeated the Blue Teal 7-0 in an amateur baseball game on Sunday afternoon in the Flandreau City Park.
The Flandreau Cardinals dropped four games that they played this week. The Cardinals lost to the Garretson Blue Jays on Monday, the Hartford/Humboldt Gamecocks on Tuesday, Dell Rapids PBR on Thursday and the Dell Rapids Mudcats on Sunday.
Flandreau 16U team plays in Brooking tourney in Volga
The Flandreau Blue Teal went 0-2 this week and is now 5-11 on the season. The Blue Teal were to host the Colman A’s on Tuesday and Madison on Saturday. Both game start at 7:30 p.m.
The Flandreau Blue Teal went 1-2 in amateur baseball action over the week. The Blue Teal lost to Colman and Dell Rapids PBR on Monday and Tuesday before beating Hartford/Humboldt on Sunday. Flandreau is now 5-9 on the season and will host the Dell Rapids Mudcats on July 11.
A new camp set to take place in Flandreau in early August aims to offer area youth time on the basketball court as well as mornings filled with conversations about faith.

All of the William and Ann Halter kids were back home in Moody County this past weekend. They try to get together somewhere at least once a year, having gone separate ways since growing up on a farm south of Ward, and attending Fletcher Country School.
This weekend is the 2nd Flandreau Athletic Hall of Fame celebration, and there’s been a couple of changes in the schedules but there’s still tickets available to attend the banquet and induction ceremony.
CANOVA – The Flandreau Blue Teal hung on for a 4-3 victory over Canova Gang on Sunday afternoon using two home runs and three RBI from Mason Riley to do so.
