ARMOUR – The Colman-Egan boys team scored 112 points followed by Webster’s 83.5 while the Hawk girls counted up 150 with Dell Rapids St Mary taking second with 120 points all at the Burnell Glanzer Relays held in Armour on May 13.
Chris Lee sped through the 100 meter dash to take first place. This time puts him as the fastest 100 meter runner in Class B heading into the state meet this weekend.
Jack Mousel also took a first place win in the 200 meter dash and Jackson Zwart was first in the 110 meter hurdles.
In the field events, Jack Mousel was first in high jump and Jase Mousel was first in the long jump.
The girls had several first place finishes.
Daniela Lee won the 100, 200 and was also on the winning 400 meter and 800 meter relays. Jolie Flatten was the 400 meter winner, Brynlee Landis took the 800, Michoen Williamson won the shot and Quinn Meyer won the high jump. The 1600 meter and medley relays also were the gold medal winners.

The Hawks will send 12 girls and six boys to the SDHSAA Class B State Meet at Howard Wood Field in Sioux Falls starting Thursday morning.

Girls
CANTON – Five field athletes attended the Canton Field Event Invite on Tuesday, May 14.
The Hawk girls shined in the javelin throw with all three members placing in the top eight.
Anna Zwart was second 105’7”, Finley Luze was fourth 97’8” and Quinn Meyer was seventh, 83’2”
For the boys, Jesse Baumberger was eighth throwing the javelin 122’1”.
Michoen Williamson came in fourth in the girls shot with a heave of 34’11” setting a personal record for herself.
