Ralph J. Loiseau, age 76 of Flandreau, passed away July 31, 2018.
Ralph Joseph was born June 27, 1942 to Alfred and Mary Ann (Schwebach) Loiseau. He attended a country school near his home at Pipestone MN and then graduated from Egan High School. He graduated from Nettleton Business School with an accounting degree. In 1982, Ralph married Janeece Woolven in Watertown SD. They resided in Sioux Falls while Ralph worked at Knox Lumber Yard, Lewis Drug, Western Mall and the Empire Mall. Ralph retired in January of 2017 and entered Edgewood Vista Assisted Living in Flandreau.
Ralph is survived by his mother: Mary Ann Loiseau of Edgewood Assisted Living Flandreau; one brother: John (LeAnn) Loiseau of Watertown and their children, Christopher (Jenny) Loiseau, Chad (Keri) Loiseau, Melissa (Matt) Holtquist, Eric Whitely (Ashley) and Amy Cody; two sisters; Rita (Duane) Greenhoff of Flandreau and their children, Laurie (Brian) Christensen, Lauren (Christine) Greenhoff, Scott Greenhoff and Stacey (Neil) Radulski; and Jane (Steve) Witte of Egan, SD and their children Michelle (Tom) TenEyck, Michael (Tanya) Witte, Daniel (Megan) Witte and Kari (Matt) Hargens; his sister-in-law: Sharon Loiseau of Watertown and children Kim (Keith VanWell), Tracy (Leon) Heyn and Todd (Joy) Loiseau; and many great nieces and nephews.
Ralph was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Loiseau (1996) and brother William (Bill) Loiseau (1997); his grandparents Joe & Anne Schwebach and Ralph & Helena Loiseau as well as many aunts and uncles.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Ss. Simon and Jude Catholic Church, Flandreau, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday at Skroch Funeral Chapel, Flandreau, with a 6:30 p.m. prayer service. www.skrochfc.com
