Maxine Greco, 81, of Sioux Falls, SD, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at Dougherty Hospice House, Sioux Falls.
Maxine was born February 28, 1938 at Pipestone, MN, to Harold and Nellie (Sweet) Reynolds. She grew up in Egan, SD, graduating from Egan High School in 1958. Maxine married Charles Greco October 21, 1960 in Flandreau, SD. She traveled with her husband who was in the U.S. Army. In 1971 they moved to Flandreau and Maxine worked at 3M in Brookings until retiring in 1995 when they moved to Florence Gardens, AZ. Her husband preceded her in death April 26, 2013. Maxine moved to Sioux Falls July 6, 2019. She enjoyed the sun, golfing, crocheting, sewing and swimming.
Maxine is survived by her son: Joe (Myong), Sioux Falls; daughter: Mary Jane (Kevin) Maiers, Flandreau; four grandchildren: Michael (Melanie) Greco, Joseph (Charlotte) Volden, Allison (Chris) Matter and Jackie (Jared) Iverson; five great grandchildren: Jace, Drake, Alexa, Kaelyn, and Billy; one brother: Stanley (Shirley) Reynolds, Flandreau; two sisters: Mary Hiller, Sioux Falls and Dorothy (Darold) Kneebone, Flandreau; and her sister-in-law: Eileen Reynolds, Sioux Falls.
Maxine was preceded in death by her husband, her daughter Pamela, one granddaughter Danielle, parents, and three brothers, Frank, Milton, and Harold, Jr.
Here funeral service was August 9, 2019 at the United Methodist Church, Flandreau, with burial in Union Cemetery. www.skrochfc.com
