Elizabeth Ann Lee, age 88, of Flandreau, SD, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Riverview Healthcare Community, Flandreau, SD.
Liz was born February 14, 1929 to Frank and Mary (Pugel) Noes in Ashland, WI. Liz taught school in Grandview, WI and Minneapolis, MN and then she attended the University of Wisconsin to further her studies. While there she met her husband Vernon. They were married September 22, 1962 at Madison, WI. Liz taught school in Germany after their marriage when they were stationed there. Liz was very musically talented. She played the piano, guitar and trumpet. Music was a joy for her. Liz and Vern travelled extensively for his job as an entomologist. Her passport listed 58 countries. Liz and Vern retired to Flandreau, SD in 1983. She was a member of Ss. Simon & Jude Catholic Church.
Liz is survived by her brother: John (Ruth) Noes of Brooklyn Center, MN and many nieces and nephews.
Liz was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon (March 26, 2005), parents, brother Frank and sisters, Mary (Voltare) Senecaut and Agnes (Louis) Simonich.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:30 P.M. Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Ss. Simon and Jude Catholic Church in Flandreau, SD with burial in Ss. Simon and Jude Catholic Cemetery. www.skrochfc.com
