Softball suffers losses last week

BERESFORD – The Flandreau Flier girls lost all three games at the Beresford Watchdog Classic last week.
Olivia Peters started for Flandreau, allowing seven runs (six earned on four hits and eight walks with three strikeouts. Nora Hamilton finished the game allowing one hit and a walk with a strikeout over 2.2 shutout innings.

Rylee Allen went 1-for-2 with a walk and a run scored. Hailieanne Schepel went 1-for-1 with a walk. Sadie Iott walked once with a stolen base and a run scored. Addy Hammer walked once and scored a run.
No other stats were available in the losses to Tri-Valley, 9-2 and Alcester-Hudson 5-1.
The Fliers also hosted Arlington in a double header and split the action on the Flandreau diamond. Flandreau won 3-2 and then Arlington won 8-5.
Tuesday the girls were to be at ORR for a double header and then Friday host Madison. Monday, they travel to Beresford again and then Tuesday, to Lennox.
