Hawk netters win DVC tourney

The Colman-Egan volleyball team won the Dakota Valley Conference Tournament on Saturday after beating Elkton-Lake Benton 2-0 and Deubrook Area 2-0.

The Hawks won the two sets by the score of 25-21 and 25-12.
Mackenzie Hemmer had 10 kills for the Hawks. Braiden Westley had 13 assists abd five digs. Olivia Baumberger had six kills and five digs.
Julia Drietz led ELB with 14 assists. Hannah Krog had six kills. Tevan Erickson and Madisyn Nielsen each had four kills.

The Hawks won a tight one 28-26 in the first set and took care of business in the second set 25-18.
Baumberger had seven kills and four blocks. Westley had nine assists six digs three kills, and three blocks. Kennadi Landis had seven assists and Hemmer had six kills and six digs.
Baylee Holmund had 13 digs. Ellie Koenig and Brooke Koppatscheck each had seven assists. Delaney Pedersen had eight digs.
The Hawks season record so far is 20-3.
