Girls come from behind for win

LAKE PRESTON – The Iroquois/Lake Preston Sharks led 14-11 at the end of the first quarter but the Colman-Egan girls jumped in front by a score of 28-22 at halftime. C-E led 45-36 at the end of the fourth quarter and held on as ILP won the fourth quarter 9-7.
The 52-45 in came in Lake Preston on Feburary 13.
Brynlee Landis led Colman-Egan with 23 points and Kaylee Voelker had 17 points for the Hawks.
Adison Moore had 20 points, nine steals, four assists and a block for the Sharks while Hadlee Holt had 17 points, seven rebounds and a block. Kera Dubro had six rebounds and Faith Steffensen had two assists for ILP.
C-E improved to 13-7 was to start the Region 3B Tournament on Feb. 20. A win puts them in another region game on Thursday.
