Vs. Garretson
FLANDREAU – The Fliers raced out to an 18-4 lead after a quarter and pushed their advantage to 39-11 at halftime to cruise to a 55-28 Big East Conference girls’ basketball win over Garretson on Tuesday night.
“Defensively, we put together a solid four quarter performance tonight,” said Head Coach Megan Severtson.
“We found some things offensively that were working for us early and executed well throughout the game.”
Flandreau’s Hannah Parsley posted a double-double of 26 points and 10 rebounds, while coming up with five steals and dishing out three assists. Marianna Pavlis contributed 14 points as Maria Parsley chipped in with five points and seven boards.
Lizzie Olson had six points and six rebounds for the Blue Dragons. Kyley Greenhoff and Lily Ronschau also scored six points apiece.
In the JV game, the Blue Dragons kept ahead of the Fliers winning 34-31. Cassidy Keith scored 15 Flier points.
