Flandreau – Allowing a five-run sixth inning to the visiting Hartford-Humboldt Gamecocks proved to be too much for Flandreau to overcome as the visitors claimed an 8-1 win on Thursday night.
The Cardinals were held to just four hits, none for extra bases.
Keith Cutler, Jordan Gesling, Nate Kneebone, and Luke Gassman all singled.
Drew Weber pitched the first five and two-third innings and was credited with the loss. He allowed six runs on eight hits, walking three and striking out one. Just two of the six runs he allowed were earned.
