COLMAN – Colman-Egan dropped to 1-6 on the season after falling to Bridgewater-Emery 55-41 Monday night.
The Hawks led 16-8 after the first quarter, but the Seahawks were able to chip into that lead in the second quarter and trailed 28-23 at halftime. Bridgewater-Emery played great in the second half and took the lead in the third quarter after outscoring Colman-Egan 15-6. They then stretched the lead in the fourth quarter by outscoring the Hawks 17-7.
Bridgewater-Emery (5-5) was led by Chase Arend who had 22 points, six rebounds and four assists. Tyler Kjetland had nine points and six rebounds. Rylee Schultz had eight points and four rebounds.
The Hawks were led by Chase Hemmer who had 10 points and four rebounds. Dalton Voelker had eight points and 12 rebounds. Nate Tolley had nine points and six rebounds.
BE shot 42.6% from the field and was 4-19 from three. They held CE to 34% shooting from the field and the Hawks were 3-20 from three. The Hawks outrebounded the Seahawks 29-26.
