RUTLAND – Dalton Voelker posted a double-double and Colman-Egan beat Oldham-Ramona/Rutland 58-40 in a Dakota Valley Conference boys’ basketball game Tuesday night.
He scored 20 points on 8-of-10 shooting and grabbed 10 rebounds.
“This was the first game in quite a while where we were able to be efficient on offense,” said Hawks coach Scott Hemmer. “We were helped greatly by Dalton Voelker getting close to being 100% after spraining his ankle last week.
“If we continue to move the ball and play aggressive defense, the second half of the season should be a good one for the boys.”
Nate Tolley added 18 points, five assists, four boards and three steals. Chase Hemmer had eight points, six assists, four rebounds and three steals. Ty Hiller chipped in with six markers.
Colman-Egan led 17-11 after a quarter, 29-18 at halftime and 43-26 through three.
