LCC
CLEAR LAKE – The Flandreau boys placed first – led by medalist David Allen – and the girls were second at the Lake Central Conference Cross Country Meet on Monday.
Boys
The Fliers totaled 13 team points and Clark/Willow Lake was second at 25.
Allen won the 5K race in 17 minutes, 25.71 seconds.
Austin Kulm placed second in 18:11.33 and Samuel Gassman was eighth with an 18:38.66 clocking to round out the team tally.
Also for Flandreau, Liam Streitz (18:54.03) was 11th, Lars Dailey (19:15.51) 13th and Lurick Dailey (19:31.9) 15th,
Girls
The host Cardinals finished with 14 team points. The Fliers were second at 19.
Hannah Parsley crossed in 21:07.58 to place fourth.
Lily Klein ended up fifth with a 21:18.2 clocking.
Reese Olinger finished 10th in 22:41.94 to complete the team score.
Also for Flandreau, Josie Hamilton (22:55.85) was 13th, Sadie Iott (22:56.43) 14th and Lizzie Pavlis (23:33.77) 16th.
JV boys
Flandreau dominated the meet, sweeping the top five spots individually and posting a team score of six – the minimum.
The Fliers put eight runners in the top 10.
PARKER – The Flandreau boys finished second and the girls were third in the Big Eastern Conference Cross Country Meet on Wednesday at ParMar Golf Course.
Boys
David Allen won the 5K race in a time of 16 minutes, 27.2 seconds.
Beresford topped the team standings with 24 points and the Fliers were second at 27.
Liam Streitz (17:10.62) placed fourth, Austin Kulm (17:30.77) ended up ninth and Lars Dailey (18:06.41) crossed in 13th to complete Flandreau’s team score.
Also for the Fliers, Samuel Gassman (18:49.1) was 19th and Lurick Dailey (19:15.17) 22nd.
