William (Willie) Kenneth Krogman, 87, formerly of Rozet, Wyoming, passed away on Wednesday, August 9, at the Norton Avantara Rehabilitation and Care Center at Sioux Falls, SD.  
Willie was born on July 8, 1936, on a farm northwest of Flandreau to William and Alma Krogman.  He attended Durland and Tidd Country Schools and graduated from Flandreau High School in 1955.   He was a member of the Flandreau Boy Scout Troop.  He enlisted in the U. S. Marine Corps on August 9, 1955, serving aboard the aircraft carrier, U.S.S. Shangri-La and was discharged on August 19, 1959.  After his discharge Willie went to Odessa, Texas, and worked in the oil fields.  
He was united in marriage to Sharon Lee Thomas on January 28, 1961, in Odessa.   To this union two sons were born, William Kenneth III and Stanley Edward.  Willie and Sharon moved to Abilene, Texas, where Willie worked for Brown & Root Construction building missile sites.  They moved to Arlington, Texas, in 1963, where Willie went to work for General Motors for several years.  They later moved to Fort Worth, Texas, where they were later divorced in 1969.  
Willie moved to Denver, CO, in 1970, and became a private contractor.  After many years in Colorado he moved to Gillette, WY, where he worked for Powder River Coal Company.  After his retirement he moved to Rozet, WY.  
Willie was an avid bowler, having bowled three perfect 300 games.  He enjoyed football as a Dallas Cowboy fan and he enjoyed playing golf.   
Willie is survived by one son, Stanley, Ogden, Utah; five grandchildren: Tawnie (Mitchell) Sorrells, Congaree, SC, Stanley Edward, Jr., (Kimberly) Lake Havasu City, AZ.,  William Kenneth IV, Elizabeth Diana and Lucas McKay of St. George, Utah, and one great grandson, James Robert.
Willie is also survived by two sisters, Diana Heyer, Dell Rapids,  and Elaine (Ron) Hammer, Flandreau, and his sister-in-law Mary Krogman, Custer, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.  
He is preceded in death by his parents, his son William III, two sisters, Fern Pedersen and Shirley Chamley, a brother, Roger Krogman, a nephew Doug Pedersen, a niece, Marsha Ustanko, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.   
Interment was at the South Dakota Veterans Memorial Cemetery near Sioux Falls.
