Dale L Adolphsen,90, passed away at home on Sunday, April 23rd, 2023. Visitation at 1:30PM, Memorial service to follow at 2:30PM on Monday, May 8th, 2023 at Royer’s Funeral Home located at 100 Royer Lane, Grain Valley, MO 64029
Dale was born in Summit, South Dakota, the son of Oscar and Eva (Kozac) Adolphsen. He served in the Army, stationed in Germany, during the Korean War. He retired from Armco Steel in 1985. He had his own tree trimming business, which he was very proud of. He also worked at T&R Electric, and since has retired in Grain Valley, MO. He lived a beautiful and full life. Dale liked to go dancing, fishing, ride motorcycles, and later in life he really enjoyed going to the casino. He was a big family man, who loved to be onery at any chance.
He is survived by his wife, Norene Adolphsen; daughter, Mari Young; Granddaughter, Kassandra Gammon; two sisters, Opal Kockx and Jan Ross; brother Derald Adolpshen; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Dale is proceeded in death by his parents; three sisters, Irene, June, and Betty Lou; and three brothers, Gerald, Larry, and Dennis.
