Moody County commissioners learned at their September 7 commission meeting the Ward Road Bridge may be let for bids in November.
Highway Superintendent Marc Blum said the Corps of Engineers finally sent the required 404 permit to the state.
The permit, which under section 404 of the Clean Water Act is required for the discharge of dredged or fill material into waters of the United States, is the latest in a number of delays on the project of replacing the bridge.
With this step completed, Blum said the project will probably be bid in the first part of November.
