The Prairie Wanderers Volkssport club will have a volks walking weekend in Flandreau Sunday.

Registration for the event starts at 11 a.m. at Flandreau City Park.
The walk is the sixth of six walks in different towns in northeastern South Dakota over a three-day weekend starting Friday. It also is sponsored by America’s Walking Club and the AVA.
Two trails will be mapped out at the park, a five Kilometer trail (3.1 Miles) and a 10 Kilometer trail (6.2 miles).
The walk is from the park into the city of Flandreau on sidewalks and bicycle/hiking trails. Walkers will be able to go at their own pace but must finish by 3:30pm.  Water will be available at the start and finish points.
