While many are cursing the snow, fog and the extent of the winter weather that we’ve experienced already this year, others are reveling in the beauty. The hoar frost that the conditions have created on countless mornings have made for a near white-out look of the region. Here, the sun shines through heavy frost on the branches of a tree along the banks of the Big Sioux River on Sunday just north of Flandreau.
