Nick Flute, the newest member elected to the Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribal Council, was sworn in this past week for a new four-year term in leadership by Judge Sherman Marshall. Flute was elected in this latest General Election for the Trustee IV position, alongside incumbents Jonathan Schrader, Sr as Trustee II and Vice-President Cyndi Weddell.
A nice size crowd attending the brief swearing in ceremony last Thursday.
The full results of the election is shown on page 6 of this week’s Moody County Enterprise print and E-Edition.
