On Friday, Flandreau Public teachers and staff visited students with a parade in their vehicles through Flandreau, Egan and Trent so that everyone could see each other while remaining at a safe distance. About 50 cars with teachers were joined by Moody County Sheriff Troy Wellman in the county, the Moody County Ambulance and the Flandreau Fire Department, who ran lights and sirens as the teachers honked their horns and kids waived. Smiles went both directions.
