The Flandreau Fliers boys’ basketball team won the first game of Region 2A but couldn’t get past Sioux Valley and closed their season last week in Region 2A play.
The Fliers finished the season with a record of 14-8.
“It was a disappointing way to end a very successful season,” Coach Brendan Sheppard said. “Sioux Valley was able to overwhelm us with their size and athletic ability.”
“We’ll be returning our entire team next year and we’ll continue to improve.”
