The Colman-Egan K-12 students and staff raised over $1,100.00 in three days just by wearing a cap to school. Colman-Egan’s “Hawk Way” Committee wanted to help Kobee Sherman, a 16-year-old student/athlete at Viborg-Hurley, with expenses. He was recently diagnosed with Osteosarcoma (cancer in his knee).
The committee asked the students and staff at Colman-Egan to wear caps and donate to their “Caps for Kobee” drive.
From April 11 to April 13, anyone who wore a cap to school was encouraged to give a monetary donation. The goal was $2 per day or $5 for the three days.  All donations will be given to help Kobee and his family.
