Community-Focused Dental Care: Meet the New Owners of Flandreau and Dell Rapids Clinics

Posted

Brady and Lauren Roby have been part of the Flandreau and Dell Rapids communities for nearly a year now, and they are grateful to have been welcomed so openly as the new owners of the Flandreau and Dell Rapids Dental Clinics.
The Robys, along with their business partner, Dr. Shayna Vercruysse, hosted an open house at their Dell Rapids office this past week. The three, along with their team of nearly 15, hoped to thank the local area for their business and allow others the opportunity to learn more about their practice.
Brady, originally from Sioux Falls, met his wife, Lauren, while both were in dental school at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, in 2016.
Lauren, who grew up in Omaha, always thought she might move south once she finished school. She laughed that she didn’t plan on “heading south” to mean South Dakota, but added that the young family couldn’t be happier.

“The community aspect is the best part,” said Brady.
“She worked in Sioux Falls for two to three years before this; I worked there for about a year, and we had a clinic. But here, just being within a smaller community is the best part. You really get to learn about everyone and how to take care of them.”
The partners each have their own area of specialty, giving both offices the opportunity to see patients of all ages for a range of services, from deep cleanings to major dental work.
“Our biggest thing is wanting people to feel comfortable in the chair. We like being close and a safe place for patients to come, no matter what their needs are,” said Brady.
