These three bowlers, members of the Here Comes Da Boom! team from Flandreau (from left) Patrina Dailey, Tracy Ramsdell and Sally Sorensen, are the champions of the Lucky Strike Ladies
24-week bowling league which was held on Tuesday nights in Dell Rapids. There were seven 3-person teams in the league. Ramsdell ended the year with the league’s high average of 159. Glenda Hansen rolled the season’s highest scratch game at 222 and Karla Bjerke, the season’s high scratch series with a 581. Team high scratch game was Bar X Galaxy Girls with a 541 and also scratch series at 1525. Twenty local women bowlers will be attending the South Dakota Women’s State Bowling Tournament in Huron this weekend to conclude the bowling year.
