James Galipeau, the new owner of the classic Flandreau Bakery, has re-opened with limited hours and a small number of baked goods for now. Galipeau, who has been a loyal fan of the bakery since he was a child himself, has been able to find a crew in both new and some returning staff. He is otherwise a full-time instructor at South Dakota State University in the Engineering Department. More on changes happening at businesses in downtown Flandreau and throughout the county in the coming weeks.
