The annual Earth Day program will take place at the Flandreau Public School on Friday, April 21.
Speakers from South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks and Tammy Lunday, unit director of the Moody County Boys and Girls Club will talk about the environment and keeping it clean.
Program organizer Liz Wakeman said this year she wants to focus on composting and getting the kids to think about what food they can grow themselves through gardening rather than going to the store.
The program begins at the elementary school at 8:30 a.m. and will move on to the middle school and high school successively.
