Moody County authorities are looking for leads on who broke into Steve’s Bar in Trent last week and left with an ATM machine.

The sheriff’s department has footage from the establishment that shows one person taking the machine out on a cart. Entry was made by breaking out a window, said Sheriff Troy Wellman.

“We are able to figure out some leads based on the video,” he said.

The incident happened during the early morning of March 28.

There is no indication on how much money was in the machine at the time, Wellman said. The machine has what is similar to a small safe inside.

A similar incident happened a few years ago at a Colman bar, Wellman said.
