The 2024-25 winter has been unusually dry, pushing the region back into moderate drought conditions. While local growers are appreciating the mild weather, they’re hoping for much-needed snow or rain by March and April to boost soil moisture ahead of spring planting. Forecast for this week includes high near 50. We’ll have more on how the lack of snow is impacting the area in next week’s Moody County Enterprise.
