FLANDREAU – It was a tough night for the Fliers as they were outgained 372-186 yards by the defending Class 11B state champions, Elk Point-Jefferson, 55-6.
Karter Headrick had the lone touchdown for Flandreau on the ground with a 60 yard scamper early in the fourth quarter. He finished with 97 yards on 13 carries.
Quarterback Paul Parsley was 2-for-12 with 15 yards and two interceptions. Ben Ballard had one catch for 15 yards to go along with 61 yards on 14 carries on the ground. Parsley also kept the ball four times for 13 yards.
No defensive stats were given.
Flandreau is now 2-4 on the season and hosts Scotland/Menno on Friday at 7 p.m. in the last home game of the season. It will also be parent night celebration.
