Colman-Egan fell to 9-3 and three on season after participating in the Sanford Pentagon event, but earlier had picked up a big win over ranked Gayville-Volin.
Vs. Canistota
COLMAN – Colman-Egan won the sets over Canistota on Tuesday by scores of 25-13, 25-7 and 25-13.
Brynlee Landis had 15 kills and 13 digs. Kaylee Voelker had 13 assists and Presley Luze had nine digs and four service aces. Finley Luze had eight assists and Anna Zwart had eight kills. Elaina Rhode had six kills and two aces and Addison Geigle had five assists.
Vs. Gayville-Volin
GAYVILLE – Colman-Egan topped the Class B fifth ranked Gayville-Volin Raiders, 3-2, on Thursday handing the Raiders their second loss of the season.
It took five sets to earn the win. G-V won the first set 25-23 and C-E the second and third sets, 26-24, 27-25 before the Raiders won set four, 25-18. The Hawks used extra scoring to win the fifth set 16-14.

At Sanford Pentagon
SIOUX FALLS – Colman-Egan struggled in the Sanford Pentagon matchup.
In the first game, the Hawks lost to Mobridge-Pollock, 25-20, 18-25, 17-25 and then to Arlington, 27-29 and 23-25. No stats were provided.
The Hawks record falls to 9-3 on the season. This week they host the 2-11 Howard Tigers on Tuesday and 10-3 Castlewood on Thursday.
