This past weekend, the Flandreau Santee Sioux’s Wicoicaga Otipi Community Center on Broad Avenue in Flandreau hosted the 10th Annual Waniyetu Wacipi. Hundreds from across the region attended, taking part in the drum and dance competitions while others enjoyed the food, fun, song, dance and camaraderie from the sidelines. It was a full house in the gym Saturday night during and after the Grand Entry, which is when the attached photos were taken.
