Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Flandreau is hosting a pulled pork fundraiser on Sunday, April 28th from 11:00 a.m. through 1:00 p.m. to support sending local youth to the National Youth Gathering in New Orleans this summer.
With over 30,000 high school youth and adult leaders from across the United States expected to convene in late July, the National Youth Gathering promises days filled with interactive learning, worship, study, service, and fellowship.
“This fundraiser is not just about food; it’s about providing our youth with an invaluable opportunity to engage with their faith on a deeper level and connect with peers from all corners of the country,” remarked Pastor Ramona Hayes.
Attendees of the National Youth Gathering will be both challenged and inspired, with activities designed to encourage them to live out their faith in their daily lives. The event serves as a catalyst for personal growth and spiritual development, fostering a sense of community and solidarity among participants.
Those interested in supporting the cause and enjoying a savory meal are encouraged to attend.
