A controlled burn quickly got out of control this past weekend along the western edge of Interstate 29 north of Highway 32 as winds and persistent dry conditions fanned the flames. Colman Fire & Rescue along with the Moody County Sheriff’s Office responded to the call and backlit the remainder of the rite of way in the section to bring the burn under control.
