Lloyd Lange, 59, of Flandreau, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD, surrounded by his loved ones. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 19th, 2024 at Skroch Funeral Chapel in Flandreau, SD. Visitation, one hour prior to the memorial service starting at noon. Following the memorial, friends and family are invited to Eastman Hall in Flandreau to enjoy a meal in honor of Lloyd.
Lloyd was born on March 27, 1965 to Lloyd Sr. and Donna (Wittrock) Lange at McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. He grew up and received his education in Hartford, SD graduating from West Central High School.
He met Nicole Nelson in 1997 and in their partnership the couple was blessed with two daughters, Amber and Ashley Lange. Nicole passed away September 22, 2020.
Lloyd was then united in marriage to Patricia Lange and the couple made their home in Flandreau.
Lloyd was employed at CRC in Brookings for many years and worked as a forklift operator. He also worked at Rainbow in Brookings doing building for 15+ years and IBP for many years in Sioux City.
His favorite hobby was fishing; he also enjoyed working on cars, watching NASCAR and football and loved boating.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Lange, Flandreau, SD; daughters, Amber Lange (Chris Miller), Sioux Falls, SD, and Ashley Lange (Cameron Schipper), Flandreau, SD; grandchildren, Oliver and Eliott Miller, Kionna Eastman, Shaylee, Vinson and Jesse Feather, Eli Peterson; step-mom, Nancy Lange, Sioux Falls, SD; siblings, Tammy (Jeff) Geraets, Brandon, SD, Teresa (Greg) Koch, Brandon, SD, David (Samantha) Martin, San Diego, CA, Deanna (Mark) Johnson, Sioux Falls, SD, and Carla (Marty) Kuntz Lake of Ozark, MO.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Donna Lange; former partner Nicole Nelson; and nephew, Chad Gates.
