Tammie Kneebone of Flandreau was named July 2024 Millie E. Olson Award recipient.

Kneebone has the role of the Supply Clerk Assistant at Riverview Healthcare Center in Flandreau where she has been a member of the team since 2008. She has also had the titles of Activity Assistant and Apartment Aide during her time at Riverview.

Tammie Kneebone of Flandreau was named July 2024 Millie E. Olson Award recipient.
Kneebone has the role of the Supply Clerk Assistant at Riverview Healthcare Center in Flandreau where she has been a member of the team since 2008. She has also had the titles of Activity Assistant and Apartment Aide during her time at Riverview.
Tammie’s commitment to the residents she serves in unparallel. As she goes about her duties, she is always willing to pause and assist residents with whatever they may need. Residents are glad to see Tammie as she is completing her rounds, checks and replenishing supplies.
Her warm and welcoming personality are a huge asset to Riverview and has ensured that she forms meaningful bonds with residents. Many residents look forward to Tammie taking them to appointments because they know that she is working as hard as she can to provide them with a comfortable experience. She simply wants what is best for her residents who make their home at Riverview.
The Millie E. Olson was created by the South Dakota Health Care Association and named after its first recipient, Mildred E. Olson of Garretson who was an exceptional caregiver. This aard is open to staff of any SDHCA member center.
