ARLINGTON – The Hawks defeated the Cardinals, winning in straight sets by scores of 25-22, 25-21 and 25-19 on Tuesday, August 29.
Daniela Lee led the Hawks with 13 attacks on the night while Brynlee Landis had 12 kils and Anna Zwart had seven kills. Presley Luze led C-E with 17 digs while Landis had 14 digs and Lee had 11 digs.
Kaylee Voelker had 22 assists while Lanie Mousel had 19 assists. Kaylee Voelker had a team-high five blocks for the Hawks while Landis, Lee and Eliana Rhode had four each. Landis and Mousel also had one ace each in the win.

Addie Steffensen led the Cardinals with 12 kills while Jaelyn Huntimer had nine kills. Issie Steffensen had 30 assists and an ace on the night while Huntimer also had one ace. Harley Johnson had 15 digs and Addie Steffensen had 10 digs while Addie Steffensen and Issie Steffensen had two blocks each.

DESMET –  No stats were available, but the Hawks defeated the DeSmet Bulldogs on Thursday in four sets. Scores were 25-19, 25-17, 23-25 and 25-11.
They now stand with a record of 3-0 on teh ear and were to host Estelline-Hendricks on Tuesday and travel to highly rated Class A Elkton-Lake Benton on Thursday.
