As of Easter Sunday  evening, April 9 at 7:26 pm and due to rising water levels, the City of Flandreau Park was closed to general traffic. Thankfully over night at approximately 11:57 pm the ice was able to break off the Flandreau dam down stream opening up the river and allowing water levels to lower almost three feet. Pictured above you can see the water running freely over the dam as additional ice chunks make their way down river.
