ICAP hosted a free canning class on Friday where Moody County residents got to learn basics in water bath canning and food dehydration. Those in attendance were given free canning jars donated by local community members and reusable canning lids that were donated for the event by Tattler Reusable Canning Lids, LLC.
ICAP Moody County Community Service Worker Kerry Kulkarni, SDSU Extension Master Food Preserver Stacie Horst explained the process.
