Howard
HOWARD – The Hawks picked up a big win in five innings over the Howard Tigers on April 29.
They belted out 16 hits in the game. Four doubles by Brienne Bowen, Maebe Groos, Sarah Voelker and Kinley Geigle and a triple by Kaitlyn Taggart highlighted the hitting. Groos led with three hits and three RBI.
Kinzley Shafer (2), Taggart, Chloe Schmidt, Harper Mousel (2), Sarah Voelker (2) and Bowen (2) also had a single base hits.

Mousel batted in three runs and pitched the five innings. She gave up nine hits and four runs, walked six and struck out three.

ORR Doubleheader
COLMAN – The Hawks’ Taggart had the hot swing going 3-for-3 against Oldham-Ramona/Rutland on Friday on the home field.
Colman-Egan won, 7-3 in the first game of a doubleheader.

Taggart swatted out three singles and Chloe Schmidt and Bella Grann both had two. The Hawks picked up 12 hits throughout the game while holding the Raiders to six.
Schmidt pitched all five innings. She struck out seven and only walked one batter.
The Hawks also won the second game, 5-1, but stats were unavailable.
