Hawks get the win on the court

ELKTON – The Colman-Egan volleyball beat Elkton-Lake Benton in four sets on Thursday night in Elkton.
ELB won the first set 25-12 and the Hawks then won the next three sets by scores of 25-16, 25-17 and 25-11.
The Hawks were led by Daniela Lee who had 22 digs and 11 kills. Brynlee Landis had 10 kills and two aces. Kaylee Voelker had 18 assists and 15 digs. Lanie Mousel had 20 assists and five kills. Presley Luze had 19 digs and Elaina Rhode had eight kills.
The Elks were led by Tevan Erickson who had 20 assists, nine digs and two blocks. Ella Crofutt had 13 digs and Andrea Renkly had eight kills. Kylie Ramlo had 11 digs and four kills. Charlie Thooft and Aubree Bales each had seven digs and four kills.
Earlier in the week, Colman-Egan took their first loss on the season to Estelline-Hendricks in five sets. Scores were 25-23, 16-25, 22-25, 25-23 and 3-15.
Colman-Egan was to host McCook Central/Montrose on Tuesday and also host Iroquois-Lake Preston on Thursday during Homecoming Week celebration.
