Frigid temps come and go

Posted

Downtown Flandreau was unusually quiet early Monday as subzero winter temperatures settled in, paired with the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday giving many the day off and a reason to stay cozied up at home. With the breeze, the feels like temp on Monday was -34°. Frigid temperatures are expected to hang around through Tuesday when a warm up begins. Sunday morning’s low was -14. Wednesday’s high is expected to be in the upper 20s.
