Fliers will have 20 athletes at Class A State Track and Field meet

The Flier girls will send five relay teams and the boys will send four to the state meet beginning Thursday in Sioux Falls. All events are held at Howard Wood Field.

The two teams also have six girls and four boys participating in individual track and field events.

The Flier girls come in to the meet seeded number one in the sprint medley relay and Faith Wiese is seeded second in the 1600 and 3200 meter runs.

The boys top seeded runner is Brenton Westberry in the 400 coming in third.

800: 3rd Faith Wiese

There are also alternates attending state and include: Charley Henderson and Hailieanne Schepel for the girls and Cam Flute and Nate Hobbie for the boys.
