Flandreau girls volleyball won at home and lost on the road last week.
Tuesday, the team was to be in Elkton and then Thursday, host Sioux Valley.
Next Tuesday, is the annual Dig Pink Night, a fundraiser for the Cancer Society. Everyone is encouraged to wear pink to the game. There are bake sale items to buy and raffle tickets to purchase that night. The Fliers will face Beresford.
Vs. McCook Central/Montrose
FLANDREAU – The Fliers won all three sets by the same score of 25-19.
Sadie Iott led the Fliers with eight kills and 17 digs. Aly Schepel had 14 assists and Morgan Kontz had 13 digs. Olivia Peters had six kills, Ella Hoffman made two blocks and Addy Hammer had two aces.
Vs. Dell Rapids
Thursday, the team was swept by Class A No. 1 ranked Dell Rapids.
Set scores were 25-8, 25-21 and 25-8. No other stats were available.
