FHS All-State Chorus

These are the Flandreau High School Choir students who were selected for the annual All-State Chorus concert. Front, from left, Delilah Stading, Bailey Bergjord, Abby Lewis, Ellyn Kingsley, Isabel Kulm and Amelia Pieper. Back, Alex Julson, Ben Kulm, Owen Kelm, Hayden Garcia, Braxton Julson and Abe Streitz. All-State Chorus will be held November 1-2 at the Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls with Michael Hanawalt of Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL as the guest conductor for the final concert on November 2. Abby, Amelia, Owen and Abe comprise Quartet 1; Bailey, Ellyn, Ben and Hayden comprise Quartet 2 and Delilah, Isabel, Alex and Braxten are alternates. Their high school director is Malerie Yeaton.

BEC 4-Year honors
Abe Streitz, left and Ben Kulm, right received their four year member awards at the Big East Honor Choir held Monday, October 21 at Salem. They sang with 18 other Flandreau students and other students from Big East Conference member schools. The guest conductor for the evening was Dr. Stephen Kingsbury from Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall, MN. Pictured with the singers is their instructor, Mrs. Malerie Yeaton.
