Flandreau: Full of Fun & Frights

Calling all Witches and Warlocks, Goblins and Ghouls, Super Heros and Princess…. Well, you get the idea. Flandreau is gearing up for a season full of Halloween fun.  Several organizations and businesses have fun nights planned
The first of events will be on Wednesday, October 25 at 5:30, Our Saviors Lutheran Church invites kids grades K – 6th to cozy up for a movie night. Kids are asked to come in their favorite pajamas and bring a blanket. Halloween candy, popcorn, and drinks will be provided. The cost is $10 per kid, $15 for two kids, $20 for three kids. All proceeds will towards the Youth ELCA gathering in New Orleans.
Next up will be a Night at the Museum taking place on Saturday, October 28th. Guests can come in there Halloween costumes to enjoy the fun at the Moody County Museum. Fun kicks off at 6pm until 9pm. There will be goody bags handed out to those in costumes, as well as other games and activities.
Last before the big show on Halloween is a double dish of Trunk or Treats on October 29th. The first is from 2pm to 4pm, at the Royal River Casino parking lot. Next is hosted by Flandreau Holiday Committee and Our Saviors Luther Church, in the OSLC parking lot. Trunks will be open for business from 4pm-6pm. Anyone still wishing to place a trunk at this event can call Brittany Bennett at 605-864-8636 or Pastor Ramona at 605-850-8482.
Halloween night stop by Edgewood of Flandreau between the hours 5:30pm to 7:30pm to Trick or Treat. The Residents will have treats to hand out to your “sweet little tricksters.”
