Farmers’ Market Fall Festival is Sept. 28

What has become an annual end-of-year celebration for the Flandreau Farmer’s Market will look a bit different this year.
Mark your calendars as the festivities and harvest festival will move to the grounds just south of the Grizzly Meats on South Veterans Avenue for a day-long celebration on September 28th with vendors, music, wagon rides, and kids activities.
The event has been held on the Courthouse lawn the past couple of years and drawn hundreds for an evening of shopping, food, and fall-themed fun, but the owners of Grizzly Meats are teaming up with vendors to make it an even bigger, full-day, home-grown celebration.
Learn more on Facebook by visiting the Flandreau Farmer’s Market and Grizzly Meats business pages. More details to come in next week’s edition.
In the meantime, the last Thursday night regular season Farmer’s Market is scheduled for this Thursday at the Moody County Museum and harvest time means an incredible amount of fresh vegetables and other locally grown and made items.
