This year’s Fall Festival, marking the close of the summer Farmers Market season, promises something for everyone, including a variety of new, free, family-friendly activities. With a fresh location just south of Grizzly Meats on South Veterans Avenue, the event will be capped off by a special Farm to Table dinner, new to the lineup this year.

Organizers encourage attendees to reserve a spot in advance by contacting Grizzly Meats. The meal costs $15 per person, featuring meat from Grizzly Meats and side dishes sourced from local gardens. Dessert will be provided by Mad Mary’s, adding a sweet touch to the day.
New to the festival is a free 45-minute yoga class at 11:30 a.m., hosted by Synergy Strength from Brookings. Also joining the festivities are the Wakpa Ipaksan Singers and Youth Drum Group, along with fun activities like carriage rides, “Bubbles with BTown,” performances by musician Phil Baker, a free photo booth, face painting, and more.
Food trucks and a variety of vendors will be on-site throughout the day for guests to explore.
“I think we’re in a good spot because we’ll have more visibility,” said Jen Callahan, Farmers Market and event organizer.
“We’re just excited to bring a day of entertainment and local resources to the community, and it makes a difference when you support local businesses and neighbors—perhaps now more than ever.”
