Delta Dental truck coming in July Mobile program provides dental care to kids in need

MADISON, S.D. – Appointments are now being accepted for the Delta Dental Mobile Program’s return visit to Flandreau July 22-26.
Inter-Lakes Community Action Partnership (ICAP) is hosting the truck for children who cannot afford or access a dentist because of cost, lack of insurance, transportation, or other reasons.
A full range of dental care is available, including exams, cleanings, preventive treatments, and cavity fillings. Oral health education is also provided to patients so they can continue to care for their teeth after the visit.

Children from their first truth through age 21 are eligible. Services are provided at no cost to the child or family, and insurance is not necessary.
Registration in advance is needed, and a patient consent and information form must be completed. For details, contact Sidney at flandreaudentalbus@interlakescap.com/.
A link to the online appointment form can also be found at www.interlakesunitedway.org.
The dental truck will be located at the Boys & Girls Club of Moody County, 803 W Community Drive, for the duration of the visit. The visit is a partnership between ICAP, Interlakes Area United Way and Delta Dental of South Dakota. In 2023, the program provided over $25,000 in dental care to 23 children in Flandreau.
