Construction crews this past week poured new concrete on the EganOildCounty Road 9A/Christenson Bridge northwest of Flandreau. County Highway Superintendant Andy Muller said that crews poured 250 yards of concrete in about five hours, “which was fast.” The concrete itself, however, will take about a week to cure. Forms for the guard rail were being set up in the meantime and grading was expected to begin soon as the approaches for the bridge were being raised on both sides of the Big Sioux crossing.
