Colman-Egan Class of 2025 celebrates graduation

There were a few tears but mostly smiles Saturday as 25 seniors at Colman-Egan High School walked across the stage to receive their diplomas.
The Class of 2025 marked the end of their high school journey surrounded by family, friends, and school staff. Many said they’ll miss their classmates but are leaving with strong friendships and lasting memories — especially those made through the school’s athletic programs.
“The athletic program, it was just awesome…the volleyball program especially, and the coaches,” said graduate Savanna Schmidt.

Presley Luze and School Board President Kirsten Taggart helped welcome guests to the ceremony. Superintendent Scott Hemmer delivered the keynote address.
The class motto, “We Made It, Class of ‘25,” captured the excitement of finishing strong and looking ahead to whatever comes next.
Graduates wore black and gold, the school colors, and carried white roses, their class flower.
“I think the school did a really good job and taught him really well,” said Joe Grib, father of graduate Isaac Grib.
After the ceremony, the gym quickly filled with hugs, photos, and plenty of well-wishes as the newest Colman-Egan alumni stepped into the next chapter.
